***This pattern is a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD PDF*** #VP127 – Wild Animals This embroidery pattern is a high-quality digitally-traced copy of a set of twelve vintage Vogart stamped-for-embroidery quilt blocks from my personal collection. There are twelve designs—five jungle animals (monkey, leopard, elephant, tiger, and hippo) and seven woodland animals (bear, possum, fox, raccoon, fawn, beaver, and wood pussy (an old-fashioned name for a skunk)). Originally designed to make a baby quilt by adding sashes between the 8\

Sweet strawberries! This beautiful pattern packet abounds with patterns of strawberries, strawberry blossoms, shortcake, elegant swirls of vines and leaves – everything you want for strawberry season! The packet includes the main pattern, an introduction page, and eight pages of embellishment patterns and borders to add all kinds of creative options for your project. Patterns in this packet would be ideal for all sorts of projects from embroidery to digital collages, card making, and scrapbooking. This pattern packet is available for instant download. As soon as your payment is complete, the pattern may be downloaded and you are ready to print it and transfer it to your project. Complete instructions for downloading your file may be found here: https://www.etsy.com/help/article/3949 This is a digital file in pdf format. You will need the free program Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to use this file. You may download it for free at https://get.adobe.com/reader/ Please be sure to visit my blog http://bigbgsd.blogspot.com/ There are two ways to transfer the pattern to your project: 1. Using lightweight fabric, tape the pattern (face up) to a flat, smooth surface and tape your fabric over the pattern. You should be able to see the pattern through your fabric. Use a washable transfer pencil or erasable marker to trace the pattern. For heavier fabrics, you will need a light source to see the pattern. You could tape the pattern and fabric over a light box or onto a window. 2. Using tracing paper (sometimes called embroidery tracing paper or dressmaker’s tracing paper), tape your fabric to a hard, flat, smooth surface. Cut a piece of tracing paper that is an appropriate size for the pattern. Place the tracing paper (carbon side down) onto the fabric where you want the design to be. Set the pattern on top of the tracing paper with the right side of the pattern facing up. Make sure the three layers (fabric, tracing paper, and pattern) are in place and then tape the pattern edges down to the fabric so that everything stays securely in place. Firmly trace the pattern with a pencil, a dry ballpoint pen, a tracing stylus or an embossing tool.
