When placing order, please specify what name you would like embroidered in the personalization box. You can choose from having one or two names embroidered. Please type the name exactly as you want it embroidered (for instance- if you want it in all lowercase letters, please type it that way). I embroider the flower in an off white thread, but if you would like a different color, just let me know in the “notes to seller” section. Made to order. Embroidery is on a luxe white twill and backed with felt. Twine is attached in a bow to the screw of the hoop for hanging, but is removable if you don’t need it. Ailsa Craig and Moon Modern Minimal Embroidery Textile Art Stitched in Scotland

This little hoop features Ailsa Craig, an uninhabited island located 10 miles west of the Scottish mainland in the Firth of Clyde. It is a prominent landmark and home to many seabirds. The embroidery is created using wool-mix felt and various cotton threads. The moon is stitched in place using shisha stitch and the reflections in the water are a mixture of couched threads and running stitch.
