Ah the glorious freedom of cycling! I love it. Here it is represented in lovely orange and yellows, including Liberty prints. Freestyle machine embroidery is done with a sewing machine but the ‘feed dogs’ (or teeth that move the fabric through the machine) are lowered so the fabric can be moved freely in any direction. This allows the machine to be used to ‘sketch’ the stitches on the fabric. Picture comes framed in black frame measuring w:26.5 h:20.5 d:3.5cm. Picture itself is w:17cm h:12.

Chatterton Village is the area of Bromley where I live. The community centres around Chatterton Road, with its parade of shops and restaurants. The houses are eclectic, and all the roads are different. I was inspired to sew a range devoted to them. Bloomfield Road has many charming Victorian cottages, tucked in together is a friendly way.
