This necklace will be made to order. Because of the nature of hand embroidery, slight variations may occur. You will get a necklace extremely similar to the one pictured, but it will be unique, as no two pieces of embroidery are exactly the same. This little hand embroidered white tailed bumblebee measures about 1 inch in diameter. Despite its compact size, the embroidery work is quite involved and includes shading and small details. I use thread painting techniques to add as much details, shading, and highlights as possible while working on such a small scale. It’s embroidered on natural linen blend fabric with high quality DMC embroidery thread in your choice of wooden mini embroidery hoop or antique brass vintage pocket watch metal frame. I have other frames available also. If you prefer a more simple frame, send me a message and we’ll find something more suitable to your taste.
