This embroidered hoop is perfect for you or any nature lover in your life! It looks adorable hung next to your plant shelf, or decorating your bookshelf! It is a perfect little addition to any room! 100% handwork. Embroidery is made on beige linen canvas with cotton DMC thread. The hoop frame diameter is 16 cm, thickness – 0.8 cm. I used different embroidery techniques for this floral composition to emphasize the beauty of the flowers. The hoop backside is made of felt. It would look great hanging on the wall, propped on a shelf, table or may be given as a souvenir to your friends, co-workers or family members. These flowers will remind you of summer all year round. Framed Embroidery – Summer Flower Garden – Embroidered Picture

A ready to hang, framed hand embroidery of a Summer Flower garden. This embroidered picture is a unique work of art by embroidery Artist Gini Newton. It would make an ideal house warming, Mothers’ Day, or anniversary gift for those who love hand embroidery, the textile arts, flower gardens – or all three! I think it would look lovely in the living room, hallway, bedroom, conservatory or even the bathroom, on a plain coloured painted wall or a papered wall with a simple pattern. How It’s Made: I wanted to celebrate the riot of colour and texture to be found in the summer flowers of my own garden last year. I chose a natural linen background and several types of embroidery stitches which, when combined with lively colours, would give a 3 D effect. To create this piece, I started with the Lupin and kept adding more flowers. You could say it grew organically! I’ve included a photo naming the flowers I chose, which are •\tCarnations •\tFuchsia •\tLupin •\tRose •\tCrocosmia •\tLavender •\tViolas •\tRudbekia •\tGerbera Daisies •\tForget me Knots Once completed, I stretched and laced the work over a padded acid free board to keep it looking perfect in the frame for years to come. The Frame The square frame is a brushed Silver wooden frame with a cream coloured mount, which is signed by the artist. It comes with the glass and is sealed at the back with framing tape. It is hung with brass picture wire, which is secured to brass picture D rings fixed to the back of the frame. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHOTOS SHOW THE PICTURE WITHOUT THE GLASS. This gives more detail and truer colour representation of the embroidery and avoids reflections during photography. Size of Embroidery image – 5” wide x 4.5” high [aprox 12.5 cm x 10 cm] Size of Frame – 8” x 8” [aprox 20.5 cm x 20.5 cm]. SHIPPING This framed picture is ready for immediate dispatch.
