Elisabelle, my pretty little Spring Dress for little girls, ready to ship in Size 1, 12 months. A pretty dress for Easter, a Birthday dress for a little girl turning 1, celebrating her first birthday, a dress for a garden wedding, to wear to Church on Sunday, a dress for sunny spring and summer days, a dress to be worn and to make memories in. I love creating dresses for little girls, hand smocked dresses made with love, that I know she’ll remember for a lifetime, and then another, when her little girl wears that dress again. I have chosen a pretty embroidered organza lace fabric for the bodice and the sleeves. The bodice is lined with white cotton batiste. The bodice and sleeves look as if little white forget-me-knot flowers have been sprinkled all over, so very pretty. The skirt of the dress is yellow lemon cotton, and I have deeply smocked the front, and then embellished within that hand smocking with 5 floral motifs, tying togeher in design the white with the yellow. The skirt is very full, with lots of twirling factor. The back fastens with three floral shaped white buttons. Yellow cotton fabric sashes tie at the back waist in a bow, with long tails (which I so love for little girls). The dress is Couture finished, with hand sewn bound round neckline and short puffed sleeves. Measurements
for this dress are as follows Length 17.5 inches (44.5 cm) Chest circumference 21.5 inches (54.5 cm) fabric sashes tie at the back in the bow, to bring this measurement in if needed, cinching the waist. Neck circumference 10 inches (25.5 cm) Sleeve edge circumference 8 inches (20 cm) Please measure your child’s measurements against those of the dress to ensure the correct fit.
