The stitches you will practice with this design: -Stem stitch -Split stitch -Satin stitch -Long and short stitch -French knots -Buttonhole stitch The design provides tutorials for each of the stitches, so if you are new to some of them it will help you to familiarize yourself (I would recommend practicing the new stitches a little on a spare piece of fabric beforehand). It also suggests working with 1-2 strands of floss in the needle, so the finished result will look elegant and exquisite. All of the designs in this series use the same DMC palette and thread expenditure is low so you can work all 4 designs using 1 skein of floss for each color!
