Was tun, wenn man eine kaputte Mädchenjeans geschenkt bekommt? Man probiert eine neue Flickmethode aus: Wie wäre es mit einer dekorativen Negativ-Applikation, kombiniert mit Freihandsticken? Das vorhandene Loch wird dabei einfach in das Design einbezogen. Von innen blitzt ein hübscher (Baumwoll-) Stoff durch, der per “Nähmalen” in einer netten Form festgenäht wird. Mächenjeans dekorativ flicken – so gehts: • Ein Stück hübschen, nicht zu dünnen Stoff (lieber etwas Festeres, Baumwolliges – bitte kein dehnbarere Jersey!) von innen unter die zerrissenen Stellen legen und mit Vliesofix* o.ä. (=aufbügelbares Klebevlies) fixieren. Feststecken ginge natürlich auch, aber mit Vliesofix (alternativ: Sprühkleber* oder evtl. einfach Klebestift) hält es einfach besser. • Ein einfaches Motiv (hier: Herzen) in passender Größe von rechts mit Schneiderkreide auf die rechte Stoffseite aufzeichnen. • Das Hosenbein auf links wenden. • An der Nähmaschine den Transporteur versenken, und falls vorhanden das Stickfüßchen montieren (mit einem Stickfuß sieht man besser, wo man genau näht). • Jetzt kommt der schwierigste Teil: Das Hosenbein irgendwie in die Nähmaschine würgen (meines ist nur Gr. 110 und etwas eng!) und das Motiv freihand nachsticken. Dabei die Konturen ruhig zwei, drei Mal nachnähen. Dass die Stickerei etwas schief ist, ist hier Programm und volle Absicht. Wenn …
