This hand embroidered dandelion hoop is the first in my series celebrating weeds. Dandelions are of great value to bees because they’re one of the first pollen sources of the season, yet many people strive to eradicate them using herbicides that have a negative impact on bee colonies worldwide. I would rather have some dandelions, honestly. When you purchase this hoop, 20% of the sales will be given to The Honeybee Conservancy, which is a non-profit dedicated to educating people about bees and bee friendly habitats and supports research that investigates the decline of the bees. Check them out at thehoneybeeconservancy.org. This hoop is made to order and will take 3-5 days before shipping out. This hoop is hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss on 100% linen.
